Across Boundaries merges personal and collective memory about the ongoing war on the Korean peninsula that began on June 25th 1950. The video projection of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) behind the counter represents not only a physical boundary, but also a psychological one that distances people from the reality of the ongoing losses of this 62-year (now 71-year) long conflict.
