Between One Place and Another, 2016, Colour inkjet photographs

As a Korean-Canadian intersectional female artist, I am interested in art as a means to communicate across boundaries of difference. My artwork responds to the historical omission of Korean-Canadian diaspora experience in North America by acknowledging the previously colonized  and now two divided Koreas. In my art practice, I seek ways to work towards interconnected solidarity, transformation, and change.
