Dream Strong was launched in response to the "Toronto Van Attack” killing 10 injuring 16 innocent pedestrians on April 23, 2018. Dream Strong provided a public space for hundreds of participants, from all backgrounds and ages to focus on dreaming strongly after a violent public attack. Participants were invited to collaborate by writing down three keywords describing their hope for the future. They could then connect their ribbons with other coloured ribbons so throughout the day this act would result in a site-specific dream-ribbon installation.
